I love Jules Verne. Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20000 Leagues, and Mysterious Island are my favorites. Adventure books are so fun.

I read the Joanna Fields’s book (she wrote A Life of One’s Own under a pseudonym) in high school - found a copy at a used bookstore. Very interesting book about the author’s inner life - and unfortunately I lost the book - would like to reread it 50 years later and see how her words resonate.

Fingers crossed we will be able to see the eclipse! So cool that we will actually be able to hear its effects through animals. Every year, I use eclipse season as a time to shed the old ways and ideas I had for myself that are no longer working, to create space for newness of all kinds. It’s been a great time to reflect on my creativity and how I go about sharing and expressing with the world. The cool thing about eclipses is… they can hold whatever meaning you choose them to hold.

I loved the mixtape you put together this week. I have not heard of any of the artists in this mix and listened to the tracks you selected and then some. Your selection provided just the musical interlude I needed on this bleak snowy day.

Good stuff. I love #7 the part about reading older books. On my shelf for a year, and I need to get to it is "The Count of Monte Cristo" ... Can't believe I haven't gotten to it yet. I recently read "A Wrinkle in Time" and love that one. Gave the 3 book set to my 10 year old granddaughter last fall. As for my reading, I seem to have four or five books going at a time! And, I always look forward to "all" the stuff you give information about.
