10 things worth sharing this week + Eastern Pennsylvania adventures
Ahhh, how did I miss you were coming to Lancaster! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It really is a magical and weird and rich place.
In the same elevator as John Fetterman! Nice.
That Iggy show sounds great, I'll have to give it a listen. What a pairing with a two lifetimes of incredible experiences. I recently watch a clip of Iggy on David Letterman, talking about how he started jumping into the crowd, among other things (https://youtu.be/PqDC7F4dBsM). An absolute delight.
"Less" is high on my tbr list right now. But first I'm going to read Kid Congo Power's memoir!
I love Philadelphia in the fall. Glad you enjoyed our city!
Longwood Gardens is one of my favorite places on earth. I haven’t been there since I’ve been back in Philly before the pandemic. So glad that you made the time to hang out there.
I actually started what I call the Bradbury Reading Program mid last year. I don’t do it everyday but skip days when needed and I’m currently on Day 379. I’m aiming to reach Day 400 by the end of the year (long break in December).
Have discovered a bunch of good authors this way, as well as really short ss and essays for when I’m feeling less motivated. (Including from your recs)
At the rate I’m going I will finish in at least two years. I’ve never had long-term goals like this so it’s been an interesting experience.
Interesting about the pens, I've been really enjoying the Sharpie S-Gel and Roller pens. I am intrigued by the Paper Mate Flair promise of not bleeding through!
I’m more of a Precise V-5 Rolling Ball pen 🖊 man myself :) Philly in fall sounds lovely. And that Iggy discussion must be delicious. I used to be obsessed with Iggy back in time. I DO have a portrait of him tattooed on my arm 🤨
