Are you able to get to the Lancaster PA Convention Center on Saturday, 10/29 @ 4 - 5 pm? If so, you can attend Austin's keynote speech at the PAEA conference.
Austin, your comment about how Motown songs were engineered to sound amazing on dinky transistor radios reminds me of a Les Paul anecdote: supposedly, he would always listen to a final mix of a song in his car on the car radio to make sure it sounded right. The power of constraints.

Oh man, wrestling is absolutely one of Trump's (and other politicians') source codes for how they behave - and there's a fan base that eats it all up. I would 100% listen to Dan's podcast.

I’m not sure I’d get much work done in that studio knowing the pool and potential cocktails were in such proximity.
It’s a chance I’m willing to take
Thanks for the tip about Grand Designs. It is such a fantastic show!!!
Loved your erasure poem this week.
Your "Why art requires a sacrifice and a risk" post felt like a blip of encouragement that I needed today. Thanks for that.
OOOoooooooh, that studio's looking swank!
re: Motown - I've always thought What Becomes of the Broken Hearted by Jimmy Ruffin is spectacular and contains one of the best bridges in soul music.

Really like the old post about dictionaries. I have mine in a cubby hole in my desk. God knows how old it is. I feel strangely attached to it.
