I also felt a bit of nostalgia myself since I was really into Griffith's Zippy in the '80s where I first encountered his fascination with Nancy and Bushmiller. Going to reread some of that plus I do want to get my hands on his memoir "Invisible Ink: My Mother’s Secret Love Affair with a Famous Cartoonist", alluded to in Three Rocks.
