I am a Leuchtturm daily user. Amazing notebooks! Though for a pocket carry, it's just too thick for me. Not that anyone here doesn't know this brand, but I'll add Field Notes to this list for a daily carry!
I’m partial to Blackwing pencils. Edward Carey uses Tombow pencils, too, so I’ll have to give them a try. I do love their markers for my non-expectational drawings.
I wonder if Santa uses your list as a jumping off point for what to have the elves make during the year? Pencils are waaaaay too much fun - one of my other artist friends has somehow gotten the rest of us into Blackwing pencils - they are just fabulous to draw with. I bought mine from a little local shop in Maine and in addition to the pencils, I had a wonderful conversation with the owner about his own art and how he does what he does - great guy & a reminder to me of just how important it is to be part of a community.
I live the collage kit idea—my birthday is coming up and—so….
I love and use the notebooks and pencils you mentioned but my all time favourite is brand is Muji. A Japanese company who have stores all over and also sell through Amazon. The notebook paper has the perfect tooth and doesn’t bleed. The pens are smooth writing amazing colours. My favourite is sepia though it can be hard to get.
I love this list through out the year I have bought most of the items. I really like the Zequenz notebooks, they can handle quite a bit of ink and also lay flat, I went for blank page instead or ruled one. Pentel brush is great, the refilling trick is amazing.
The Trodat stamp is my favourite purchase in the past two years! I believe you also put me on Leuchtturm and Moleskin notebooks years ago, I cannot live without them now. Thank you for putting together the collage/zine-making kit! I've been procrastinating with the excuse I don't have the right tools (tons of them in my head) to create a zine. This helps A LOT. Thank you!!!

I turned my dad onto the Trodart stamp when he and I were exchanging daily drawings via text. He is obsessed with it! I love mine but he is a fanboy.

I reference Show Your Work and Keep Going multiple times per week. (Working my way through Steal LIke an Artist as we speak.) Highly recommend!
Thank you SO MUCH for this great list of gift ideas!!🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

Fantastic list here. I’m so glad to have Pentel brush pens in my life!
