Random thing, but I was able to do a backstage Tour of Disneyland and the absolute best part of it was the tour with the head landscapers and learning about their on site nursery and how they design their landscaping. Now when I go I have a whole new appreciation for it.

The Do books look really fascinating though I was a tad disappointed that DO DRAMA wasn’t about how to live a large dramatic life. 😄

Your highway picture reminds me of David Hockney's Pear Blossom Highway. Now all you need is a polaroid camera.

You know, it’s funny you mention that because I saw it too only right after I hit schedule and I was too lazy to link it 😂 https://austinkleon.com/2020/06/05/hockneys-pearblossom-highway/

Get James Bridles book

"Fully recognizing that non-human plants, animals and others have their own worlds which are fundamentally different and unknowable to us is to begin to end human exceptionalism and human supremacism."

+1 on this. It's a fascinating book and incredibly relevant today as we're confronted with artificial intelligence all over the place.

Longwood Gardens are spectacular. As you probably know it's a stone's throw from the town Kennett Square, the mushroom Capitol of the world!

The Gardens are also a very few miles from the Andrew Wyeth Art Museum (Brandywine Museum of Art)) in Chadds Ford. Not only can you visit the museum which houses three generations of Wyeth art (NC, Andrew, and Jamie), but you can walk to Andrew Wyeth's art studio. I love the museum...the architecture is wonderful.
