This was worth the wait. So creative.

This was absolutely glorious. So many details I could comment on, but I particularly enjoyed the collaged-use of the word 'Rhiz' in the section about youth spies. lol

That was fantastic. I see a future of printed zines or a book collection of all these typewriter interviews!

And this is why I love Tuesdays and Fridays! You always introduce me to something new and fantastic and make my life just that much better. Not enough “thank yous” in the world for that.

I love the typewriter interviews and the fact that everyone who has participated so far has been so generous in their time and thoughtful in their answers.

Loved seeing these ultra cool illustrations from a fellow Canadian. Thanks for sharing Austin! I am going to purchase a copy of Marc's book right away. Love what I saw here! I so look forward to these typewriter interviews.

Thank you for the introduction to Marc. I can’t explain why, but I get a big Winnipeg vibe from him so I’m going to look him up and see how close he is to Winnipeg.

Ingrid's avatar

Aw gee, not even close.

Curious about what Winnipeg vibes look like 🤔

Ingrid's avatar

a vibe is a feeling, not a look.

Emily GreenPurpleFireDragon's avatar

Yes. What other things give off Winnipeg vibes? I’m wondering if I can feel into the feeling.

I would listen to fascinating waffles. 🎵

Wow! I loved this one.

This is the kind of "surprise by paper" that I live for.

Wowie zowie. How great is that? And I loved the visual-literary allusions to blackout poetry, whether intentional or not. Brilliant.

Not sure I understood all of the answers BUT who cares ? It's just super creative and inspiring !

Thanks for introducing me to Marc Bell, who I was unaware of though he apparently lives just across the water and is followed by loads of my friends. I like the idea of a work process being a silly ritual, and of course enjoyed the collages very much!

Love Marc’s response about his whole work process being a silly ritual. That’s going into my playbook.

And the “quadruple beret +1” is the perfect silly image to start my day!

Wonderful... I love all those. Thank you for asking him the questions.
