I pull crap and scraps out of my collage drawer and just push them around on the page until they look right. Collage, for me, is about activating a kind of subconscious mind where you don’t feel like you’re doing the choosing, your hands are doing the choosing. One reason I go to it when I don’t know what to work on next.
