I am rereading/listening to Laurie R.King's Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russell novels. They are really wonderful and highly recommended to lovers of Sherlock Holmes.
Yay, Sherlock! Have you read "The Seven Percent Solution" by Nicholas Meyer yet? Don't bother with the film version. It's dull as drying paint, but the book is great. And yes, same Nicholas Meyer who wrote (well, rewrote) and directed "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan." Another famous Sherlockian--Kareem Abdul Jabar!
I love this quote Austin, "really pay attention, track the subtle changes around you, and fire up your eyebeams to search for beauty." I'm always on the search for beauty and often share it with others. Especially the things that I think might be overlooked. May I use your quote with attribution in one of my FB posts?
I am coming to Austin for Austin Texas Book Trail in April and this post got me even more excited! Will check out your bookstore recommendations and cannot wait to read your new book.
Have you listened to Peter and the Acid King, a podcast that Penelope Spheeris hosted? The true crime aspect of it is sad, but Peter Ivers as an artist and a cultural figure seems like someone you’d like.

Good luck reformatting the book! 😬

I have not! Committed to reading all the originals before I branch out

Sure!
Here is the post I shared today with your quote featuring mystery sprouts in my yard. I love this time of year! https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1475795490582854&set=a.199431994885883
Thank you. I'll share a link to the post with you when I make it. Probably in the next few days.

It’s a good time. We’re really lucky at the moment. (And honestly I’m not sure how we’re sustaining them all!)
“We’re not worthy!” 🙌🏻 🙌🏻

Bluetiful Austin. Thanks for the bluebonnet picture :-)
