Which translation of War and Peace are you reading? I want to read it, but I can't decide which one to read, and now I'm spending lots of time reading about reading War and Peace instead of actually reading it.
Oh, those Black Out Poems!!! Please, PLEASE think about doing a Volume II...They literally take my breath away--brilliant gut punches to put life in perspective. You are the best.
I usually have a Sharpie in the first kitchen drawer (the one with the flatware/cutlery) and I use it a lot to add information to stuff in the fridge or bags of whatever I need. It has become a kitchen essential for me.
But my husband (also reading it) and I have deliciously snarky conversations about the characters, and I can’t give that up. Gosh, you know what? I might be "hate reading" W&P.
This gives me much to think about today. I love all the numbers! Thank you!

Old school Maude translation. My advice is to download samples of 2-3-4 and compare a few pages.
